Our Mission

The new home of the Majestic is on the Ohio River Scenic Byway less than an hour east of Cincinnati in Manchester, Ohio. The sale of the Majestic is nothing short of an answered prayer for a struggling river town after the closing of the two coal-fired power plants in the small river community. Manchester was founded by Nathaniel Massie, a soldier turned frontier surveyor and politician who arrived on the Twin Islands in Adams County in 1790. Adams County’s development solely stemmed from having its entire southern border being the Ohio River. Moyer, an acclaimed winery and restaurant and local favorite on the Cincinnati side of Manchester, has agreed to an easement and to develop parking on their riverfront establishment to facilitate the Majestic in a secure area behind the restaurant that is visible from the Scenic Byway. Riverboats are the iconic logo of the Village of Manchester as well as Moyer Winery. Being able to provide dinner, fine wine, and a show on the property will certainly add to the experience on the nearly 100-year-old production facility vessel.IMG_0621.JPG
